Draft of Final Paper:
When writing the final paper I was tasked with picking one character from each of the three passages we read and discussing how they displayed the theme of "hunger". The first thing I did when given this task was to analyze the stories we were given and compile specific scenes from the stories in which the characters displayed "hunger" This gave me a strong idea of which characters most exhibit the theme of "Hunger" from there I then built the foundation of my paper and built up from there. So, by leveraging the readings given I was able to assemble a well-crafted essay.
Pre-Writing Seventh Night Poems:
For this Assignment, I was tasked to read the Seventh Night Poems and analyze them and pick apart what they mean through certain use of figurative language and imagery that was used. I was able to read through the poems and using contextual evidence as well as context clues pick out what was trying to be said. From there I noted the techniques that were used and how they were used to express certain ideas. I noted the symbolic language they used as well as the imagery and figurative language that was used to paint a beautiful picture. Overall it was an interesting process that required some thought to analyze what was being said.
